How to Export Your Services to New Markets

Learn About Opportunities Selling Your Services to New Markets

Description

Ready to increase your customer base and sell your services outside British Columbia? Just because you’re a service business doesn’t mean you can’t export. In fact, service-based businesses often have fewer barriers to overcome to become export ready.

Join us for this FREE interactive seminar and start finding customers outside of B.C. We’ll discuss finding the right markets to enter, what to include in your contracts and how to handle international travel when finding a new client or working on a current project.

Whether your business is in consulting, education, software or any other service business, you’ll leave prepared to make the most of your next big opportunity. Hear insights from Allison Boulton, Program Manager of Export Navigator, as well as a guest speaker from the Office of Small and Medium Enterprises Pacific (OSME) Public Services and Procurement Canada, who will discuss selling your services to the federal government and how to understand the bidding process.

What Will I Learn?

  • Identify the right markets for your service

  • Understand which of Canada’s Free Trade Agreements have provisions for service providers

  • Research and understand business travel including visas and after sales service

  • Learn the types of services the Government of Canada buys

  • The basics of how to sell to the federal government
